Progettata per poter essere assemblata rapidamente è stata suddivisia in tre macroblocchi (base, desk e monitor) collegabili con semplici manovre, questa caratteristica la rende particolarmente funzionale in ambiente navale; la base può essere ancorata utilizzando blocchetti di ancoraggio che fissati sulla pavimentazione stabiliscono le battute a cui ancorarla successivamente, viene poi poggiato il desk da fissare alla base e in ultimo i monitor trovano la loro sede di fissaggio sul desk.
L’elemento in basso contiene un cestello ammortizzato che ospita il computer, il portello sul davanti presenta dei louvers che dopo il passaggio attraverso la griglia di tenuta per le emissioni elettromagnetiche (EMI) permette l’areazione, mentre il portello sul retro contiene il pacchetto ventole contenuto in un cassetto verticale rimovibile, sulle fiancate laterali è presente un portello che porta all’accesso dei cavi da poter collegare facilmente ai connettori necessari, su uno di questi accessi è presente il filtro EMI per l’alimentazione.
Il desk ospita tre postazioni, sul davanti lo schermo touch della postazione principale ed un elemento rotante con un minidisplay che riporta alcune informazioni riservate al capo operatore, sui due lati le postazioni con i desk dei due operatori secondari
Sul desk c’è poi la torre con i quattro display regolabili , due per operatore, l’orientamento segue già principi di ergonomia funzionale standard, ma si è pensato di dotare di un’uleriore possibilità di regolazione attraverso la rotazione dei display per sopperire ad eventuali esigenze particolari.
Designed for quick assembly, it is divided into three macroblocks (base, desk, and monitor) that can be connected with simple maneuvers, making it particularly functional in a naval environment. The base can be anchored using anchoring blocks that, when fixed to the floor, establish the stops to which it will subsequently be anchored. The desk is then placed on the base, and finally the monitors are mounted on the desk.
The lower element contains a cushioned basket that houses the computer. The front door has louvers that pass through the electromagnetic emissions (EMI) grille to allow ventilation. The rear door contains the fan pack contained in a removable vertical drawer. The side panels feature a hatch that provides access for cables that can be easily connected to the necessary connectors. One of these hatches houses the EMI filter for the power supply.
The desk houses three workstations: at the front, the main workstation’s touchscreen and a rotating element with a mini-display displaying information reserved for the head operator; on either side, the workstations with the desks of the two secondary operators.
The desk also features a tower with four adjustable displays, two for each operator. The orientation already follows standard functional ergonomic principles, but the display rotation option was added to accommodate any special needs.
